Privacy Policy

Halo ("we," "us," "our") provides free, independent online tools — including the longevity assessment at profile.insurehalo.com and the planning tools at core.insurehalo.com — built for informational and educational purposes. This policy explains the very small amount of data these tools handle.
What we collect
When you complete the longevity assessment or run an illustration, your answers and the resulting scores are saved only in a cookie stored in your own browser, on your own device — nothing about them is sent to or stored on a Halo server as part of ordinary use.
The exceptions are all on core.insurehalo.com, never on this assessment. First: core's own questionnaire asks for your name, email, and date of birth on its very first screen, and continuing past that screen sends those details to Halo's internal system to create a contact record — even if you don't go on to finish the rest of the questionnaire or run an illustration. Second: submitting that questionnaire sends your full answers and HaloPulse Score to Halo too, so a licensed advisor has the full picture behind the number, not just the score itself. Third: if you go on to click "Talk to a Halo advisor" after running an illustration, the fuller details you've entered by that point — the policy figures you were illustrating — are sent along too, so a licensed advisor can follow up with you. None of this is shared with any third party.
We do not require an account or any other sign-up to use the assessment or run an illustration — profile.insurehalo.com's own longevity quiz never asks for your email at all. core.insurehalo.com's questionnaire does ask for your name, email, and date of birth up front, as described above, before you can proceed past its first screen. If you choose to email us directly, we'll only use that address to reply to you.
Cookies
We use two first-party cookies on this site: one to remember your saved results between visits, and one to remember a quiz you've started but not finished so you can resume it (removed once you finish or choose to start over). With your explicit confirmation, your saved results can also be reused on another Halo tool instead of re-entering them. See our Cookie Policy for full detail. We do not use third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
Your choices
- Clear your saved result at any time using "Forget saved result" on the results screen
- Clear your browser's cookies to remove all saved data immediately
- Decline the "import my answers" prompt on any Halo tool — nothing is shared unless you explicitly choose to import it
Children's privacy
Halo's tools are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
