This page explains the cookies used across Halo's tools, including profile.insurehalo.com and core.insurehalo.com.
The only cookie we use
Halo sets a single first-party cookie, halo_results, that stores your longevity assessment answers and computed results directly in your browser.
- Purpose: lets you close the tab and come back later without retaking the assessment, and — only if you confirm an "import my answers" prompt — lets another Halo tool reuse the same answers so you don't have to re-enter them
- Storage: your device only, for up to 180 days, or until you clear it
- Shared across: Halo's own *.insurehalo.com subdomains only, never sent to any Halo server or third party
- Type: strictly functional — not analytics, advertising, or tracking
What we don't use
We don't use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies of any kind. There are no cross-site trackers on Halo's tools.
Managing this cookie
You can remove it at any time with the "Forget saved result" button on the results screen, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Blocking or clearing it doesn't stop the assessment from working — it just means your results won't be remembered on your next visit.
